A few things to know
How do I copy and paste a star?
Click a symbol card, then paste with Ctrl + V on Windows or Command + V on Mac. On a phone, touch and hold a text field and choose Paste. If automatic copying is blocked, this tool provides selectable text to copy manually.
Why do some stars look different or appear as squares?
Your device, font and destination app determine how a Unicode character is displayed. A square usually means the current font does not include that character. Try a classic star such as ★ or ☆ when you need a widely supported choice.
Can I use these in social media bios and captions?
Yes, where the platform accepts these characters. Some apps restrict characters in usernames or change spacing. Paste your text and check its appearance before publishing.
What is the difference between a symbol and an emoji?
Text symbols usually follow the surrounding text colour. Emoji often use colourful artwork, which can look different across devices. The destination app may also change their presentation.
Is my text sent to a server?
This tool processes text in your browser. Its code does not upload your text, use an external font service or require an account.
